About
Sunny Setia
Founder & CEO
Sunny is a software engineer and founder based in Sydney. He grew up watching his parents run a property management business, spending weekends fielding tenant calls and juggling tradesperson schedules. That firsthand experience is what drove him to build Maple.
He studied Software Engineering at the University of Auckland (Bachelor of Engineering, Honours), where he made the Dean's Honours List and received a First in Course award. He previously interned at Canva, co-founded Pave where he built AI agents for healthcare to speed up clinical referrals, and was part of the Blackbird Giants program. Before all of that, he built a mobile app that hit the top 10 on Apple's social charts and started a web design agency at age 13.
Maple is currently in beta, working with property managers across Australia.
